I actually had trouble prying myself out of bed the next morning it was so comfy. I was actually contemplating buying a new bed before I decided to try out this mattress pad. I'm glad I did because it saved me a few hundred dollars. Its like I have a whole new bed. Its ultra comfortable and plush. It fits my 16" mattress with no problems and I don't have to worry about it shifting. The fabric even keeps your sheets from getting cold which is a great plus in the winter. All in all a great buy.

I haven't had any problems with slipping - it fits my mattress perfectly.
The only issue is washing it - it is HUGE because it's so fluffy, and I learned the hard way I have to set the water level in the washer to low or it floods because it's so large and doesn't absorb a lot. Once you know that, however, it's really a gem of a product.
